The municipality of Luxembourg City is once again organising a public viewing event at the Glacis for the final phase of the football World Cup, running from 4 to 19 July.
Various matches will be broadcast on the big screen, with coverage starting from the round of 16 onwards. All matches with a kick-off time no later than 9pm local time will be shown. The programme includes three rounds of 16 matches, one quarter-final, the two semi-finals, and the final on 19 July.
Access to the site is free, though entry checks will be in place. Food and drink stands will be available on site. In addition, DJ entertainment is scheduled for the hour before each match, during half-time, and before any potential extra time.
Due to the public viewing event, the Glacis car park will be partially closed from 6am on 1 July until 6pm on 21 July. Appropriate signage will be put in place to guide visitors.
A reserved area will be provided for people with special needs. This includes spaces for people with reduced mobility, as well as a screen with subtitles for those who are hard of hearing or deaf. No reservation is required for this area.
