A flat tyre in qualifying meant Pereira started the race in fifth position, driving the Mtech Competition Porsche GT3. In free training, however, he achieved the best time.
With 14 minutes to go, Pereira moved up to second, before Ghiretti came off the road at a corner, allowing Pereira to finish in first place.
