Peters impressed with good results in training and in qualification in the Czech Republic - with a third place, second place and one loss in qualifiers, he reached 9th place in the ranks after qualifiers ended.
In the semi-final, he reached third place and achieved 5th position for the final.
The final race started off well, with Peters moving straight into third, behind Mercier and Nikodem. Mercier suffered a flat tyre, which pushed Nikodem into pole position.
As Peters tried to take advantage, Mercier's vehicle lost control and crashed into Peters, which injured Peters' hand and dislocated his shoulder. Despite the accident, the Luxembourger raced through the pain and finished in fourth place. Petr Nikodem came first, followed by Markus Wibbeler and Vincent Mercier.
Peters was later confirmed to have broken his hand, and was forced to end his 2019 season early.
