In a surprise move, the promising footballer – who opted to represent England instead of Luxembourg last Summer – is headed to England, as Aston Villa appear to have reached a transfer deal with Madjo's current club, FC Metz.

According to media reports, Brian Madjo is close to a move to Aston Villa, in England. The 16-year-old striker is expected to sign a five-year contract, with the Premier League club paying €12 million to FC Metz. “Transfer guru” Fabrizio Romano confirmed the move on social media.

Brian Madjo only signed a professional contract with FC Metz at the start of the season, featuring in five matches in the French top division. In the summer of 2025, the 16-year-old striker decide to represent England’s U17 national team instead of the Luxembourg senior national team. Madjo played three friendly matches for the Red Lions.
