Today, lifelong learning is essential for everyone, to adapt to changes, to face up to current and future challenges and for professional and personal development. It allows us to complete our basic training, to broaden our knowledge and to increase our skills. lifelong-learning.lu, the national platform for lifelong learning, managed by the INFPC, will assist you in your procedures related to training and information to make your project a success.
In a context where the labour market and professions are constantly evolving, lifelong learning is a vital tool that helps us to meet new challenges. It thus provides real answers that meet people's expectations and fulfil companies' needs.
Acquiring skills throughout one's life allows everyone to be involved in their own development, to evolve in their profession, to change their job, to advance in their career, or even to follow their passion.
Before starting the training process, you need to identify your personal or professional objective and work out what skills you need to achieve it: What knowledge is required for my personal or professional development? What new skills do I need? Is a diploma required for the change in job position that I want? What skills do I need to gain in order to evolve within an increasingly digital environment?
These are some of the questions that allow you to define your needs and are key elements for the success of your training project. Once you have identified the objective and the skills to acquire, you can start your search for training.

To refine your search, the training courses can be filtered by training domain, location, duration, the level sought, the training language, and so forth.
You can finalise your training plan in just a few clicks! Web users can consult the description of the training courses offered via the search engine, sign up to their chosen training course directly online, or contact the training body concerned for more information.
lifelong-learning.lu also centralises all the useful information linked to training in Luxembourg: accessible diplomas through continuing training, validation of non-formal and informal learning, current events and news, the legislative context etc.
Individuals who wish to follow a training course to develop their skills can request training support. These training support measures, accessible under conditions, may take the form of special paid leave (individual training leave, language leave etc.), organisation of working time (personal working time adjustment or unpaid leave) or specific financial assistance (tax deductibility, financial support for higher education etc.)
Information sessions on training support available to individuals, in Luxembourgish and French, will be held on 16 and 23 October. Companies can request specific types of aid for training their employees.
