How about (re)discovering northern Luxembourg in a whole new way this summer? From 15 to 17 August, let yourself be carried away by the spirit of Vëlosummer and explore breathtaking landscapes on roads specially reserved for cyclists.
As part of the national “Vëlosummer” initiative launched by the Ministry of Tourism, VëloViaNorden offers one of the longest continuous cycling routes in the country, taking you through the beautiful communes of Clervaux, Kiischpelt, Troisvierges, Weiswampach, and Wincrange.
Want to extend the adventure? The route connects directly to the Vennbahn in Huldange, opening up the possibility of a scenic cross-border tour between Luxembourg and Belgium.
Please note: The highway code remains in effect. The route will be exclusively reserved for cyclists from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on 15, 16 and 17 August. Please plan accordingly and show care and courtesy to all road users.
VëloViaNorden is the perfect opportunity to embrace slow, eco-friendly tourism. Whether you’re cycling with family, friends, or on your own—on a racing bike or e-bike—you are warmly welcome.
Take time to stop in a village, taste a local product, or simply enjoy the view. To learn more about the itinerary, access points, available services, and accommodation options, visit: www.velovianorden.lu
