Over the summer the Nature Park Our offers various guided walks to experience history in a new way.

500 years ago, exchanging messages over greater distances was not as fast and effortless as it is today. Mail was delivered by horse, and it was not unusual for riders to spent weeks on the road. The only postrider station in Luxembourg was located in the village of Asselborn, in the North of the country.

This is where the guided historical-humorous hiking tour begins. On a route of about 5 km, which partly follows the original route of the 16th and 17th centuries, hikers can enjoy theatre performances and exchange with "contemporary witnesses."
The tours are offered on the following dates:

6th, 15th & 20th August

Highlight on 13th August: Night walk

Sentier des Passeurs

Have you always wanted to know more about the escape operations of Luxembourgish resistance members and forced recruits during the last years of war?

Then don't miss out on the guided walk on the "Sentier des Passeurs." On a trail of 8 km history blends with a wonderful nature experience in the surroundings of Troisvierges.
