Cox has strong ties to Luxembourg and has been a regular guest on RTL Today Radio over the past few years, sharing new music and stories from her journey as a songwriter.
Her sound reflects a life lived across several musical cultures. Born in Vancouver and raised between Canada, Liverpool and Belfast, Cox’s music draws on a mix of influences. The songwriting heritage of Liverpool, the folk and country traditions of Canada, and the pop instincts of modern British music all play a role in shaping her style.
That blend of influences comes through clearly in Love Me Like, a song that explores vulnerability, growth and the complicated process of learning to accept love.
Speaking about the track, Cox explained that it came from reflecting on the transition from an unhealthy relationship to a healthier one.
“Love Me Like is basically a love song about being loved by someone who doesn’t see the flaws that you see in yourself,” she said. “I wrote it about going from a toxic relationship to a healthy one and noticing bad habits that I learned from my relationship before and bringing them into my new relationship.”
The song captures a moment of self awareness and emotional honesty, focusing on the idea that unconditional love can help people recognise patterns and grow beyond them.
“It’s a song about self improvement and unconditional love,” she said. “A bit soppy but very relevant and relatable.”
The single follows her earlier 2026 release Made Friends and marks the start of a steady stream of new music. Rather than working toward a single EP or album right away, Cox plans to release songs regularly throughout the year.
“You can expect a new song from me every six weeks in 2026,” she said. “I’m so excited to roll out all of the music I’ve been working on.”
Alongside new music, Cox is also preparing for what she describes as one of the biggest moments of her career so far, performing at Liverpool’s legendary Cavern Club as part of a BBC Introducing night.
“I can’t believe I’ll be playing the same stage as the Beatles,” she said. “This is a huge bucket list moment for me.”
