Luxembourg jumps into the top 10 in 1901 with an average life expectancy of 48 years (1.24 in the video).

It is perhaps most interesting to note that the life expectancy was around 61 years in 1940. It then declined in the years that followed, which was most likely due to World War II raging in Europe. The Grand Duchy pops back into the top 15 in 1946, when life expectancy was slightly higher than 62 years.

In 2018, life expectancy was highest in Monaco (almost 87 years on average!).

On a side note, for some countries the data is only available from 1950.
