The nurse of the elderly woman, who was found dead in her home on Wednesday 1 March, has been placed under arrest by the Belgian authorities.
She was questioned by the police on Thursday and charged with homicide. This information was confirmed by the Luxembourg public prosecutor’s office to our colleagues at RTL.be.
It was the nurse who reported the discovery of the body of 93-year-old Marie Audrit-Reding, whose death was described as “violent”.
The council chamber will receive the suspect this Tuesday, where it will determine whether her detention is maintained or lifted. Her lawyer said she denies the charges against her.
