The woman spent several days in Belgium last week before heading back to Spain, Spanish media reported. She left Belgium last Friday and suffered from a double pneumonia. She was immediately transferred to Navarra hospital, where she tested positive for the virus.
According to the director of the hospital, her state is “serious.” She was quarantined and health authorities have embarked on contact tracing to prevent new infections.
