The Venice skate park on the beachfront of Los Angeles has been buried in sand. The measure was taken to stop people from disregarding the ongoing social distancing measures.
All beaches, bike paths and trails remain closed in the county until further notice.
“We’ve had continuous violators ... and we want them to stop,” a spokesperson told City News Service. “We want them to follow the orders because the skate parks are closed until further notice. It’s for the health and wellness of all L.A. residents.”
