    • Germans flocked to supermarket chain Aldi on Saturday to snap up the first rapid coronavirus tests to go on sale nationwide, with stocks selling out within hours. At Timmendorfer Strand in northern Germany, Aldi sold out its rapid tests within 12 minutes of opening.

    • Restaurants in Belgium are set to reopen on 1 May, as the Belgian Prime Minister set out the roadmap for the months ahead.
