New Jersey state police rescued a driver from a burning lorry earlier this week.
The lorry had crashed into a railing and a bridge abutment before massive flames began to consume it. Several people worked together to try to get the driver out of the burning vehicle a few seconds before the explosion, according to the state police department.
The driver was sent to the Morristown Medical Center for evaluation, where he suffered minor injuries. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
