Eighty people were caught dancing and raving in a field without respecting any safety distances. The incident occurred last weekend near Thionville.

Since assemblages of more than ten people are still prohibited in France, police came to the scene and put an end to the festivities at 2 am.

However, the party did not seem to stop at that point, as people living in the area reported to the police that a few people had returned to continue playing music until 5.30 am.

The organiser of the rave was penalised by the police, having to pay between €450 and €750 for breaking safety rules.
