The authorities were called to intervene in a village in the north of the department after a row broke out between neighbours.
On their Facebook page, local police said the dispute involved one man brandishing a cross in an attempt to exorcise his apparently “evil” neighbour.
Alas, the police did not provide further details as to the outcome of the dispute.
