The body of the 69-year-old was found on 22 November after his wife died in a retirement community in Tooele in the US. Police believe that the woman put her deceased husband, who had a terminal illness, in the freezer after he passed away in 2009.
Investigators and local residents who knew the couple also believe that the couple had planned to keep the man’s death a secret so that his wife could continue to receive his social security and veteran benefits - a total sum estimated at at least $177,000.
