Trierweiler and SirzenichLuxembourg air ambulance deployed in German traffic accident

On Monday afternoon, the Luxembourg Air Rescue helicopter assisted with emergency care following a collision in Germany.

Two cars were involved in a full-frontal collision on the K6 between Trierweiler and Sirzenich, according to German police.
One of the cars came to a stop on the edge of the road, while the other ended up in a ditch. Three people were freed from the vehicles, having sustained injuries in the collision. They received care at the scene courtesy of the Luxembourg Air Rescue paramedics and were later brought to hospital.
Both cars sustained significant damage. The road was closed to traffic following the crash.
The Luxembourg emergency team was supported by local emergency services.
