The four-year-old ran up to two officers and informed them that he had lost his parents while out and about in the city. They took him along to the police station, where it turned out the child’s mother had already contacted the emergency services to report his disappearance.
The child was then taken back to the city centre in a police car, where he was successfully reunited with his relieved parents.
