The number of confirmed cases rose on Tuesday by 14 to reach a total of 7,001, according to the figures announced by the Ministry of Health in Mainz.
The number of deaths remains unchanged at 235 with some 169 people in the state currently COVID positive.
Most of these new infections are limited to the southern Pfalz and Eifel.
According to the Ministry of Health, more than nine out of ten people who have previously been confirmed to be infected with the virus have recovered - 6,597 or 94.2 percent.
