Several witnesses reported a large amount of smoke and a significant presence of firefighters and law enforcement on-site.
According to the initial information gathered at the scene, it appears to be an old blasting hall located at the European Development Pole (PED), situated at the three-country border of Luxembourg, France, and Belgium.
The fire broke out on Friday morning, and although the fire was brought under control by the firefighters, they were still at work in the early afternoon, with a command post and departmental resources on-site.

Several witnesses at the scene state that two minors have been arrested by law enforcement from the Mont-Saint-Martin police station.
The smoke was visible for several kilometers around the area. It is advised to keep doors and windows closed, and to avoid the area if possible.
