Spy birdIndia releases spying "drone pigeon" thought of flying aerial surveillance for Pakistan

RTL Today
Indian authorities detained a pigeon suspected of being trained as Pakistani spy after discovering a coded ring around its foot.

Turns out that the pigeon belonged to a Pakistani man living across the border of the Kashmir province, who then explained to Reuters that the bird’s ring is used as identification at pigeon competitions.

The bird was coloured pink, and local Indian residents had captured it after noticing it flying across the border multiple times.

Tensions between Pakistan and India in the Kashmir province have increased considerably. The region is one of the most militarised areas on earth, and both countries lay claim to the region.
