Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves read out the names of graduating high school students in a livestream on Facebook... and fell prey to a rather entertaining prank.

In the video, the governor can be seen sending his wishes to high school students who graduated in Mississippi this year. One of them was curiously named: “Harry Azcrac,” the governor reads before pausing when he likely realises he has just been tricked into reading out loud a fake name.

Prankster Thomas DeMartini later took credit for the prank. “Proud moment: I got Tate reeves to say the name Harry Azcrac on Facebook live. And yes I’ve been laughing for about 25 minutes now,” the prankster tweeted.

Governor Reeves reacted with humour to the prank and retweeted footage of the entertaining gaffe. He added a joke about congratulating “Ben Dover” during he next graduation ceremony.
