Two Trier schools are also affected: the Max Planck Gymnasium and the Pfalzel Elementary School yesterday afternoon.
A quarantine has been ordered for the two classes concerned.
Currently, 27 people are considered Covid-19 positive, 14 in the district and 13 in the city of Trier.
Three patients are now receiving hospital treatment.
