Late on Tuesday afternoon, a man was reported to police for undressing and acting in a lewd fashion in a Lidl car park.
Although details of his actions were not made public, the police patrol sent to the scene confirmed it was exhibitionism.
The man attempted to escape in his car upon spotting the police, but ended up being arrested in front of his home in Algrange.
He was held overnight in police custody and will have to appear before Thionville Criminal Court
