The incident took place on Tuesday at around 4am. According to witness statements, several blasts were heard near the main road where the ATM is located.
At this moment, it is still unknown if any money was stolen or how high the damages are. Police from nearby Prüm are investigating the incident and have already launched an appeal for further witnesses to come forward.
The town of Daleiden is located about seven kilometres from Dasbourg-Pont in Luxembourg.
