Unfortunately, his well-meaning tribute to George Floyd, an EDM remix of Martin Luther King’s celebrated ‘I have a dream’ speech, was not particularly well received.

In a UN-sponsored live set on a New York City rooftop in aid of coronavirus patients, 52-year-old Guetta introduced his remix by stating:

“So this record is in honour of George Floyd. And I really hope we can see more unity and more peace when already things are so difficult.

So, shoutout to his family.”

Tune or tone deaf? You decide.
