Firefighters managed to rescue at least a dozen construction workers from under the debris, but there are still people under the rubble. Emergency services are in contact with them, and rescue dogs and a drone are helping locate them.
The incident occurred in Nieuw Zuid. It is unclear what happened or whether mistakes were made in the construction of the school building. It was due to open in September.
