Currently, 1,019 people remain infected in the state, with the number of deaths related to the virus still numbering 243.
The largest number of infections in the past seven days were recorded on Thursday with 26 per 100,000 inhabitants in Germersheim County. This was followed by Ludwigshafen (25) and Kaiserslautern (20).
