
After two cash machines were blown up and had their contents stolen in Luxembourg earlier this week, Arlon in Belgium has been victim to a similar attack. According to RTL.be, an ATM in the Hydrion commercial zone was exploded over Friday night.
Police report material damage and a broken window. The police forensics unit was at the scene to gather evidence for the investigation. There is no further information.
In the last week alone, two cash machines were destroyed in Luxembourg, one in Remich on Tuesday and one in Mersch on Thursday. After the Mersch incident, the police announced they are seeking a metallic blue Ford Kuga with the Belgian number plates 1HC490 in connection with the attack.
