On Saturday 6 March at around noon a traffic accident occurred on the A64, immediately behind the border bridge / Sauertal bridge in the direction of Trier.
According to reports a black Renault with Luxembourg license plates collided with a truck.
The truck stopped on the hard shoulder and examined its damage, but then continued its journey before the Schweich motorway police patrol arrived on site.
Police are requesting that witnesses come forward with any details.
