The company, Killing Kittens, confirmed on Wednesday that the government’s Future Fund will invest £170,000 in the business. The fund is designed to help young companies weather the storm of the pandemic.
Killing Kittens CEO Emma Sayle commented that she “never envisaged Boris as a sleeping partner.” She added: “Killing Kittens has arrived on the digital scene and we’re now pioneering the fastest-growing adult social network in the world.”
The company was founded in 2015 and focuses on masked parties dedicated to “the pursuit of female pleasure.” It boasts around 180,000 members in 12 different countries. The pandemic, however, forced the business to shift its events and workshops online. Traffic reportedly increased by 330% on the website during the lockdowns.
