The Ministry of Health (for the R-P region) announced on Friday that in large halls, halls or stadiums, for example, 20 percent of the existing fixed space capacity can be used.
This is an increase of 10% on previous restrictions and is applicable from Saturday 19 September.
The condition remains that events are carried out with no conspicuous activity of infection and that the public infrastructure(s) enable(s) compliance with the distance requirements and hygiene standards.
The basis for the innovation decided by the Council of Ministers was a corresponding agreement of the federal states, the ministry explained.
Events where large crowds of more than 500 people outdoors or 250 people in enclosed spaces can only be allowed on request.
