Doctors, nurses, pharmacists as well as all other healthcare workers in the hospitals are to benefit from a “Covid-19 Bonus” of €1,450. This in accordance with a measure taken by the Belgian government in order to mitigate the impact of the pandemic. Belgian newspaper “De Tijd” reported on Friday that the government is expecting about 10,000 requests, which would equal costs of €14.5 million.
