Police in Bitburg, Germany, are seeking public assistance after a six-year-old girl was allegedly lured and sexually abused by an unknown individual in Speicher. The girl's parents filed a complaint on Tuesday following the incident.

Initial reports suggest that the girl was approached by a stranger while playing near her home on Ringstraße. The man allegedly used pretences and offered sweets to lure her behind a nearby house. There, he reportedly sexually abused her before fleeing the scene.

The girl returned home immediately, traumatised but not physically injured, and informed her parents of the incident. Her mother promptly contacted the police, but the suspect remains at large.

The girl described the perpetrator as a middle-aged man with light skin and black hair, wearing a blue jacket, and riding a bicycle. In recent days, police have received multiple reports from worried parents stating that a man has been approaching their children and offering them sweets.
