Of these new cases, five are in the city of Trier and two in the wider district of Trier-Saarburg.
Some 4,545 test results from the Markusberg test centre have been received to date.
So far, six positive cases have been identified as a result of this initiative.
Currently, 13 patients from the district and the city of Trier are as confirmed cases.
The number has dropped due to stricter quarantine protocols being put in place.
