
This is an increase of 39 intensive care patients compared to the previous day. However, 1,266 people have been discharged now after recovering from the virus.
The region has experienced a high concentration in patients suffering from the virus, with the number of fatalities reaching 757 this weekend.
Patients at Mulhouse and Nancy hospitals continue to be transferred to other areas of the country, with two more medical trains departing on 29 March.
The first train will transport 12 intensive care patients from Mulhouse to Poitiers, La Rochelle, Niort and Angoulême.
The second will transfer 24 intensive care patients from Nancy to Bordeaux, Libourne, Pau and Bayonne.
Medical teams on the trains hail from the emergency services of Ile de France, Nouvelle Aquitaine and the Grand Est.
