The number of deaths attributed to corona virus remained unchanged at 238 according to the Ministry of Health in Mainz.

There has bee an above-average number of new infections reported in Bitburg-Prüm. In the past seven days, the health board registered 21 new cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
This is followed by the city of Kaiserslautern with 15 and the district of Trier-Saarburg with 11 new cases.
More than nine out of ten people who have been confirmed to have been infected with the virus have recovered so far.
According to the Ministry of Health this relates to 6,815 or 93.1 percent of confirmed cases.
