What do you think when you hear the word “crisis”? Is it linked to the Covid-19 pandemic, or do you think about climate change, maybe the banking crisis?
Is “crisis” something that you consider more of a single event, like a natural disaster such as an earthquake, or something that describes a long term state, like the invasion of Ukraine, now in its second year?
Indeed, all of this is correct. Today, we can already state that future crises will be broad, changeable and hybrid. The question now is: are we prepared for these and what have we learned from past crises, in Luxembourg, in the EU and across the world?
Preparedness for future crises, with a key focus on Health, was the topic of the PwC Luxembourg Health & Beyond annual conference, which was held for the 5th time this year. Together with invited panelists and keynote speakers, experts discussed the significance of geopolitical stability, the future of pandemics, as well as the reality of crisis management in Luxembourg and the Greater Region.
Listen to Dr Hannah Felstead, Manager, Health Industries, Industry & Public Sector Advisory, and Guy Brandenbourger, Partner, Government and Public Sector Leader, Health Industries Leader, as they share some insights from the conference.
