Solar panels spanning 4,500 m2 have been installed on the roof of the company’s tram servicing facilities.
The installation, a partnership between Luxtram, Enovos and Voltranovos, is producing energy at a rate of 481,770 kWh per year - enough to supply an estimated 122 households.
Luxtram confirmed that the electricity output is ‘injected directly into the Creos Luxembourg network.’
