Adrien Locatelli, a 16-year-old from Grenoble, France, has submitted a paper to the Open Science Framework preprint server. In it he claims to have injected into his own thighs “macromolecules whose primary structure was developed from a religious text.”
According to the paper, he injected the DNA containing ‘translated’ Bible verses into his left thigh, and the Quran verses into his right.
The only apparent result was a slight and short-lasting inflammation of his left thigh, with Locatelli concluding the paper stating that the research “is very symbolic even if it does not have much interest.”
This is not one to try at home, folks.
