D’ Bone Collector Museum is an NGO that retrieves and conserves dead animals in the Philippines for educational purposes, to ‘teach adults and kids alike about the amazing wildlife around them in the world’.

They recently published a series of photos and Facebook updates detailing the unfortunate fate of a Cuvier’s beaked whale. Unfortunately this all took place after the whale had died, as detailed in their first post:

A later update revealed that the whale had died after ingesting a massive quantity of plastic, ranging from shopping bags to rice sacks.
