The Moderna vaccine will cost the EU around €15 per dose, €12 for the Pfizer vaccine and only €1,78 for the AstraZeneca jab.
Pharma companies agreed that the price would remain confidential until the vaccine is allowed on the market.
The minister apologised, explaining she only meant to be transparent. The tweet has since been deleted.
