
A man lies on pier/dock and dangles his arm above the water and a sizeable fish (a Tarpon, it seems) takes the bait and with it, almost an arm if not a leg.
Commentators on the above point out that the man’s arm is already showing a bit of wear and tear and thus we should not be too sympathetic.
This is a similar method to that of Catfish Noodling whereby a fisher will place their hands in discovered catfish hole and when the fish clamps down, they pull their hand out (with fish still attached) and nab it.
