A major emergency response was triggered by a cellar fire on Rue Dominique Joseph Hofferlin in Esch-sur-Alzette on Friday afternoon.
The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) deployed significant resources, calling in units from Esch, Sanem-Differdange, and Schifflange. The Emergency Medical Assistance Team (SAMU) and three ambulances – two from Esch and one from Sanem-Differdange – were also despatched to the scene.
According to the CGDIS, three people sustained injuries in the incident.
