The homeless support charity Stëmm vun der Strooss has issued a public warning about scammers impersonating its representatives and soliciting fraudulent door-to-door donations.
In a statement released on Friday, the association said it had received several direct reports of such incidents in recent days.
The charity strongly reminded the public that neither its employees nor its volunteers conduct door-to-door fundraising. It urged anyone approached by an individual claiming to represent Stëmm vun der Strooss at their home to refuse any request for money and to alert the police immediately.
