Police arrested two people in Luxembourg City on Wednesday and Thursday, one suspected of drug dealing in the Gare district and another accused of stealing a mobile phone on Boulevard Royal.

On Wednesday night, police officers in the Gare district noticed two men behaving strangely near the train station, initiating a search on suspicion of drug dealing. The suspected buyer was found to have three bags of drugs on his person, while the dealer had cash and a mobile phone confiscated.

He was arrested by order of the public prosecutor's office and faced a judge on Thursday morning.

On Thursday night, a person had their mobile phone stolen on Boulevard Royal. The thief was stopped by a security guard, who detained the individual until police arrived on the scene. The man was duly arrested and brought before a judge on Friday.
