A man was sitting on a bench with his Yorkshire terrier near the Belle Vue bus stop in Route de Luxembourg. An unknown man came by with a medium-sized white and grey dog, which bit the terrier while passing by. Both dog and owner then fled the scene towards Rue des Remparts.
The man is described as 185 centimetres tall, around the age of 30, and wearing dark and old clothes.
Potential witnesses should contact the Diekirch/Vianden police department via telephone (244 801000) or the Echternach police department via email (police.echternach@police.etat.lu). Due to the repercussions of the floods, latter department is currently not reachable via phone.
