A yellow alert will be in place from midday on Tuesday until noon on Thursday due to expected high temperatures in the country, bringing a risk of "moderate heat-induced stress". The yellow alert is mainly focused on southern Luxembourg on Tuesday, but will extend to the north on Wednesday.
Spending long periods outside or undertaking strenuous physical activity could result in exhaustion, Meteolux and LU-Alert have warned.
