The 4-storey car park will offer 2,000 parking spaces, catering not only to city workers preferring to leave their car on the outskirts, but also to visitors of sporting and cultural events taking place at the stadium.

The P+R will obtain over 50 charging stations, a secure bicycle locker, and a Velo'OH! station. Common rooms for the drivers of the Luxtram, AVL and RGTR networks, sanitary facilities as well as a shop will be integrated into the concept.
François Bausch, Minister of Mobility, calls the new P+R "an essential link in mobility in a new residential and commercial district in full evolution that the Cloche d'Or represents today."

Lydie Polfer, mayor of the City of Luxembourg, is delighted that "the new car park in the Cloche d'Or district - in front of the new Luxembourg Stadium - will, once put into service, help absorb a large part of the traffic in the city gates and to ease traffic in the city centre thanks to its direct connection to the bus and tram network."

The total cost of construction is €74 million.
